BOUVIER NORMAL
“Bouvier Normal” is Indy Bouvier and Mike Normal’s declaration of love to one another. Shortly after meeting in 2022, the young couple discovered their shared passion for creative music making.
Bouvier Normal is a magnet attracting two opposite poles.
On one end of the spectrum, Indy Bouvier’s soft vocal harmonies float, synchronized to the enchanting melodies played on acoustic guitar. Meanwhile, Mike Normal’s creeping distortion and unapologetic blasting drums drill through your ears. Their exploration of new sonic territories combines perfectly to the lyrics. They reference codependency, loneliness, depression and social anxiety.
One might believe that Bouvier Normal are pessimists. Quite the contrary, writing about difficult emotions is a freeing way to let off steam. At the end of their moody tunnel is always their love for each other and their music, shining brighter than ever.

FINE FOOD MARKET
Sophie Perras began playing piano at age 5. During the next twelve years she studied classical music and began composing and performing with her brother Alexandre (Microwave Tower). Later, their respective styles began to define themselves: Sophie evokes the sun, and Alex the clouds. In 2020 Sophie started her solo project, Fine Food Market.
Fine Food Market takes listeners into a world that is nostalgic and bright. The vulnerability of her soft and fragile voice is countered by her witty and ironic songwriting. Lush instrumentals surround her naive lyrics to evoke strong emotional responses in the listener.
Building from the rudiments of country folk, Fine Food Market articulates her musical universe in concert with painting and photography. This is a place of brightly painted houses, old cars, and sunny fields. She also takes inspiration from Sean Nicholas Savage, Big Thief, and Kurt Vile.
Her first EP, “I’m Afraid to Be In Love with Someone Who Crashes Their Car That Much,” is a piece of the world in which Fine Food Market was born.
