About this event
T he project is a modification and demolition of existing facilities and construction of a new 6 story building to form a new Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, Ante-Natal Department, Maternity Unit, and Pediatric Inpatients department.
Members: gain 2 CIOB CPD points when you reflect on the ethical aspects of your learning from this activity.
Site entrance is clearly marked – access off Deansleigh Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH7 7DU. Meet at Site Cabins (map will be sent via email ahead of event).
The event will start at 2pm with a Health & Safety briefing, followed by a presentation of the project, site tour with Q&A, and then light refreshments.
Numbers restricted to 20.
Please note this is a large building and there are lots of stairs.
Parking is at the rear of the hospital in the contractor’s car park, free of charge.
5 point PPE, please bring your own PPE if you have it, there is also suffiecent PPE on site for visitors, should you need PPE please advise of sizes needed ahead of visit.
