As we enter winter proper and shake off the Christmas hangover it seems the perfect time to share the secret with you, canny wine drinkers, of the incredible flavour that our bottom shelf wines offer. Light whites such as crisp, refreshing Vinho Verde rub shoulders with rich, textured Chardonnay and, on the red front, juicy Bobal and peppery Syrah make for warming accompaniments to mid-week dinners.
When it comes to finding value in the world of wine, fortune favours the brave so we also search farther afield in places like Lebanon and Greece to bring you delicious wines that will leave you and your bank balance happy as a clam.
Let's ease into the forthcoming year together and find your new favourite house wine!
Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
