With bold aesthetics and experimental approaches the programme captures the diversity and complexity of our times while remaining accessible thought-provoking and visually compelling.
From poetic reflections on digital identity to insightful examinations of power and national symbolism Both Sides Now 10 offers audiences the opportunity to experience a rich spectrum of moving image practices.

What to expect
A 78-minute screening of short artists’ films and videos from the UK and Hong Kong presented with open captions. The event takes place in a step-free wheelchair-accessible venue. Sound levels vary between films but there are no sudden extreme effects. There is a short period of flashing imagery in one film Angela Su's "The Afterlife of Rosy Leavers". Audience members are free to leave and re-enter during the programme if needed.
