Budding botanists join us for an adventure into the world of plants. Over four weeks, Dr Kathryn Hill from DeBill Environmental will take you on an exciting and hands-on exploration into the world of botany!
These fun sessions will help you discover more about trees, plants and our natural world and is brought to you by Sustainable Onkaparinga.
Suitable for ages 8-12 years. Bookings essential.
Please note this is a 4-week program. Participants will be required to attend all sessions.

From gardening and crafts to learning about the environment, botany club is a great way for children to learn about the wonders and complexities of botany. With engaging activities, interactive lessons, and resources tailored to children’s varying learning levels, this club will give your child the knowledge and confidence needed to explore the exciting world of plants and their care.
Come and learn about:
Just what is Botany?
Photosynthesis – plants make their own sugar
Pollination – how flowers become fruit
Grouping plants together
Parent or caregiver supervision is required at this activity.
