Learn a simple bundle dye technique to transfer your own abstract designs onto fabric using flowers, roots, barks - even bugs and food scraps! Each participant will dye three vintage linens and a tote and learn about foraging locally for natural color. All materials will be provided for the workshop which will also include a Q&A.
You are welcome to bring snacks to enjoy during the 3 hour time frame.
Sadie Westermann is an artist/teacher who feels a strong connection to sustainable art, utilizing foraging and growing as well as secondhand fabrics when possible.
