Discover the beauty of nature captured in silver! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to work with Precious Metal Clay (PMC) — fine silver that can be shaped, molded, and transformed into stunning jewelry.
You’ll have the opportunity to create your own mold using botanical items or choose from a wide selection of pre-made botanical molds.
Skills you’ll learn include:
Mold making and image transfer in fine silver clay
Joining Precious Metal Clay components, both wet and dry
Drying, refining, and finishing your piece to be torch fire or kiln-ready
Bale making
A review of torch-firing techniques
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a beautifully detailed fine silver pendant inspired by nature .
