About this Event
In this three hour practical workshop you will learn about botanical illustration and have a go at a number of colour pencil and ink techniques including stippling, colour matching, blending and embossing.
Working from life using a selection of natural finds such as pinecones, seed heads, shells and small botanical samples you will have the opportunity to produce a sketch page and trial illustration techniques.
The outcome of the session will be producing a minature artwork on 100% cotton paper using colour pencil, ink (optional) and adding a finishing touch of water soluble metalic gold powder if you wish.
You will be supplied with a minature glass frame edged in bronze for you to take home and display your artwork in.
