Join us at Highgrove for our Botanical Casting workshop led by ceramic expert Clare Mahoney. In this creative session, you will learn how to capture the delicate beauty of plants by creating a clay impression using foraged flowers, leaves, grasses, and botanical textures. Guided step by step, you’ll press your chosen botanicals into clay to form a detailed mould, preserving a fleeting moment from nature in a lasting form.
This workshop also includes a delicious lunch served in the Garden Room and a glass of Highgrove Prosecco.
Preserve a moment in time
Your botanical mould will be filled with a blend of potters’ plaster and Cornish stone, resulting in a beautifully textured cast that highlights the intricate structures, patterns, and organic forms found in nature.
Guests are welcome to bring flowers and foliage from their gardens to personalise their creations, while a curated selection of blooms will also be available on the day. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced maker, this workshop offers a mindful and relaxing way to explore botanical design.
