Where Your Health Grows - Botanic Gardens Week 2026 celebrates the powerful impact of botanic gardens on our health and wellbeing.Botanic gardens are welcoming, accessible places that encourage physical activity, support mental restoration, foster social connection, and strengthen our relationship with nature. Research continues to show that spending time in green spaces measurably improves our wellbeing - and there’s no better place to experience this than your local botanic garden.
Join us from 18 to 24 May for a week of free activities, including daily garden tours, a creative putty printing activity for children, immersive Step Back in Time tours of Gleniffer Brae, and a Garden first - a Bonsai Exhibition presented by the Umbirra Bonsai Society.
PaniCafe will be open daily from 9am, serving coffee, teas, and hot chocolates throughout the week.

Now in its 11th year, Botanic Gardens Week is a national celebration highlighting the essential role plants play in our lives and the vital conservation work botanic gardens do every day for future generations.
We hope you’ll drop in, take part, and who knows, you may 'find your inner botanist'.
