About this Event
Boston Flute Academy Concert
Date: Saturday, May 16
Time: 7pm
Cost: $15
Join us for an enchanting evening as talented flutists from the Boston Flute Academy take the stage! The Maliotis Chamber Players and Bernoulli Winds are flute ensembles directed by Boston flutist Judy Grant at the Boston Flute Academy (BFA). The musicians perform classical music, classical crossover, and contemporary music on the many colorful voices of flute, including piccolo, C flute, alto flute, bass flute, and contrabass flute.
The BFA ensembles concertize in the Boston area on their own concert series as well as for special community events, such as the Sesquicentennial Celebration for Frederick Law Olmsted in the Arnold Arboretum and for the National Flute Association’s Convention in Washington, DC.
Stay after the concert for a warm and welcoming reception, where you can mingle with the musicians and fellow music lovers over a delightful spread of refreshments.
