September means it’s the second to last Bootleggers of 2025. 😭 But it also means Neil Fontano is bringing his crew of outstanding musicians to our stage. 🤩Neil describes his band as being “oriented around much of the Harlem pianists of the 1920’s, specifically James P Johnson’s later 1940’s swinging group recordings.
There will also be a generous amount of Fats Waller, some George Gershwin sounds and songs from the 20’s, along with a few other “jams” that might lean more traditional New Orleans in mood.”
