"Virality isn't born, it's made." What makes your product or service as popular as a blender with 220 million digital shares?
About this Event

Contagious Consumer Behavior and Know Your Audience

What makes things popular? Wharton professor Jonah Berger has spent the last decade answering this question. He's studied how ideas spread, what drives word of mouth, why online content goes viral, and how social influence shapes everything from the cars we buy to the names we give our children. If you knew the secret science behind word-of-mouth, what would you do differently? What actionable techniques could you implement for getting your product or service to catch on?

A related methodology partner in consumer behavior is psychograpics and digging into the psychological characteristics and traits such as values, social status, desires, goals, interests, and lifestyle choices of customers. Seasoned retail marketing consultant, Aaron Farmer, will be sharing how to use psychographic research to identify your top selling points, to forcus on what really matters for your messaging and content, and how to target audiences based on data rather than guesswork. Attendees will:

  • Find out how to engage and move consumers and customers to action
  • Discover actionable techniques for getting things to catch on and the science behind word-of-mouth
  • Leverage demographic and psychographic data to better position marketing efforts
  • Take a deep dive into the psychological attributes of their customers and understand people based on their attitudes, beliefs, interests, and lifestyle choices
  • Develop actionable techniques for getting products, concepts, and business to catch on, spread, and even change behavior
  • And more!

Two popular authorities sharing insights on consumer behavior and psychographic data and characteristics join forces at our third session in our Boost Your Business four-part series designed for the business or merchant who wants to differentiate himself/herself from the competition, increase sales, engage new markets, and magnify business operations. Offered in a fast-paced, high content fashion, the two-hour event is filled with cutting- edge ideas.
