The event begins at 5PM with Fireworks at 9:30PMThere will be music and many food vendors in Shafer Park for everyone’s enjoyment. Lawn chairs & blankets are always welcome at our events!!

♿️ The Community Center parking lot will be OPEN for vehicles with “handicapped parking permits” only.
We strongly suggest that you do not bring your dog to the event because the fireworks are very loud and are right above the Park.
*The rain date for the Fireworks and Independence Day Celebration will be Sunday, July 5, 2026*
The Mayor and Council and the Boonsboro Park Board sponsor this event in Shafer Park. The fireworks display will begin shortly after dark.
