Following the success of the UK Bamboo Summit 2025, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Rebecca Reubens: World Bamboo Ambassador and Sustainable Designer at Rhizome (Ahmedabad, India) to North Staffordshire for a talk about her work that crosses sustainability, craft and design.Rebecca founded Rhizome in 2009, it was India’s first multidisciplinary sustainability design studio. She began her journey in bamboo at the International Network of Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR), where she worked across Asia, Africa and Europe. Rhizome works in the space of sustainable luxury through its eponymous label and its sustainable jewellery label called Baka (https://shopbaka.com).
