Bookworms

You are invited to join us at Four Acre Farm, a no-dig market garden, for our book and gardening club.

'Bookworms' is a place where the magic of reading combines with the wonders of gardening and a love for both books and nature is cultivated.

Enjoy book discussions, preparing vegetable beds, planting seeds, weeding and harvesting. Learn about 'no-dig' gardening and watch the 'Bookworms' garden come to life with healthy seasonal vegetables.

Our first book is 'The Boy Who Made The World Disappear' by Ben Miller. An out-of-this world adventure about time travel, twists of fate and troublesome black holes! I am really looking forward to reading this book myself and then hearing about your favourite characters and parts of the story; how the story made you feel and what do we think will happen next after the story ends?

Please feel free to bring any suggestions for our next book for book club.

'Bookworms' will meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month starting from 21st November 2023 - so we have plenty of time to read our books!

Please wear clothes suitable for being outdoors and shoes for uneven ground. There is parking at the farm for a limited number of cars so if it is possible to car share with friends that would be great.
