Margo Davis defends writing as a socially acceptable form of talking to herself. Perhaps subject to what’s expressed. The author of a full-length collection, Uncoupling (Lamar University Literary Press, 2026), and a chapbook, Quicksilver (Finishing Line Press, 2022), Davis is also a three-time Pushcart nominee. Her poems have also appeared in The Ekphrastic Review, Passager, Verse Daily, Equinox, Panoply, Willawaw and numerous anthologies (Dos Gatos Press & LULP). Poised for the next writing residency, Margo hovers in Houston, packed bag beneath the bed.
Rebecca Spears, author of Turning the Lights Back On, Brook the Divide and The Bright Obvious, has her writing included in Narrative, Catamaran, Verse Daily, The Nature of Our Times and other publications. She has received several awards, including the Equinox prose award (2025), nominations for Best of the Net and the Pushcart Prize as well as recognition from the Texas Institute of Letters (2021). She received her MFA at Bennington College and currently teaches writing at Stephen F. Austin State University.
