Greetings of peace and blessings. I am Agaytha B Corbin, Author of It Takes a Village to Raise a Single Mother. I am an author and business owner that has created a storytelling journey for single parents in our community and beyond is easy when you think you’re alone. Isolation drains the spirit and the body. I know. I was there. As a single Mom, raising two boys to be honorable young men, every day broughtfinancial challenges, life struggles, and decisions that would have consequences in the now and for the future.But I wasn’t alone. I was never alone. Nor are other Singe parents,espceially at this season.This is the foundation of a new series, hosted in selected cities at small business eateries that serve great food and provide a warm, safe, informal setting for participants to learn, connect, and grow together. We call it “Book ‘n Brunch”. Speaking Grace is partnering with the CDCRC and a certified Financial Literacy Coach to share tools and approaches that elevate themselves and their villages.
