Please welcome Rachel Schneider in conversation with Caitlyn Taylor and Kayla Summers to celebrate Light Wielder: Fire & Ash Book Two (the sequel to Metal Slinger)!
This event is ticketed.
- Start time: 7:00 P.M.
- Run time: 45-60 minutes, followed by a signing line.
- Location: The second floor of BookPeople.
The author will be signing and personalizing copies of the book after the speaking portion of the event.
- In order to get a book signed, you must have purchased a ticket (which includes a copy of the book).
- For high volume events, post-talk signing lines can become very long. For such events, we recommend arriving and checking in to the event early as that will get you into an earlier signing group.
If you buy a ticket and are unable to attend:
- We will hold your book at BookPeople for 30 days after the event.
- We cannot guarantee that your book will be signed. While we do our best to try and get all event books signed, priority is given to event attendees and any extra stock is dependent on the author’s availability.
Guidelines:
- Ticket-holders will be checked in starting at 7:00 P.M. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check in.
- Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis (and is not guaranteed)

About the book:

RACHEL SCHNEIDER lives in South Louisiana with her husband and daughter. She loves curse words, crawfish, and all things romance.

Caitlyn is an avid Romantasy reader who loves getting lost in magical worlds and torturous slow burn romances. When her nose isn't stuck in a book she's creating content about said books, or chasing around her two daughters and trying to get them to love magic as much as she does.
Kayla is a book lover and SAG-AFTRA actor. She loves to read fantasy, dark, and contemporary romance, falls into obsession with the books she loves, lives for books with yearning, and becomes insufferable about getting her friends and followers to read her favorite books too. For some inexplicable reason she loves authors who cause her mental and emotional anguish while reading. This bio might be a cry for help.
