A welcome return to Oban for popular bookbinding tutor Beth Lancaster.
Introducing Coptic stitching as a form of exposed spine binding, we will make an A6 size book, learning to create hard covers for our books and a traditional sewing method of creating a notebook. As the book doesn’t have a hard spine, the book pages are able to move flexibly and allows the book to be opened wide, making it ideal for sketchbooks and journaling.
All materials provided but attendees are encouraged to bring their own decorative papers to include if they wish.
Suitable for adults over 16 years.
