About Handle with Care, by Marybeth Mayhew Whalen:

Marybeth Mayhew Whalen received a BA in English with a concentration in Writing and Editing from NC State University and has been writing ever since. She is the co-founder of The Book Tide, an online community of readers where “a rising tide raises all books.” Marybeth and her husband Curt are the parents of six kids who are now all in various stages of adulting.
About Kissing the Sky, by Lisa Patton:
Kissing the Sky is a soulful, nostalgic novel about a young woman coming of age in the '60s to the blare of the music that shaped a generation.
Lisa Patton began her career in entertainment and media in Memphis before later joining musician Michael McDonald on multiple album and video projects. After a stint as an innkeeper in Vermont inspired her debut novel, Whistlin’ Dixie in a Nor’easter, she became a bestselling author known for her Southern-themed “Dixie” series. A breast cancer survivor, she now lives in Nashville with her husband and continues writing while celebrating a large blended family.
