Book Talk and Signing: "Beth is Dead" with Katie Bernet

Bird's Bookstore is thrilled to host Katie Bernet in conversation with Brooke Fossey for an intimate seated discussion on Bernet's award-winning debut novel, Beth is Dead, a “brilliantly snappy . . . electrifying” (Publishers Weekly, starred review) debut thriller that’s also a bold, contemporary reimagining of the beloved classic Little Women.

Following the seated conversation, Bernet will be signing books at the front of the store. Your ticket includes one copy of Beth is Dead.

Katie Bernet is an award-winning creative director and a long-standing member of the DFW Writer’s Workshop. As the oldest of three sisters, she’s a diehard fan of Little Women.

Brooke Fossey was once an aerospace engineer with a secret clearance before she traded it all in for motherhood and writing. She’s a past president and an honorary lifetime member of DFW Writers Workshop. When she’s not writing, you can find her in Dallas, Texas with her husband, four kids, and their dog Rufus.
