About this Event
Shana Schoone recently released her book, “love, the one that got away” a collection of poems and essays that honors former love and all the anger and sadness that accompanies it. This book offers each of its readers a place and time to mourn, take their power back, and feel inspired to live life again. It features themes of love, loss, heartbreak, accepting the love we didn’t deserve, freedom, emotional unavailability, abandonment, commitment, and intimacy issues, situationships, the closure we deserved but never got, and unrequited love.
This event is NOT just to discuss Shana's book, "love, the one that got away" but to come together to hold a real conversation about what love and dating have become in today's society. Whether you're a man or woman going through a divorce or breakup or have gone through one previously, mark your calendars for this special gathering at 3201 Thorn St and get ready to have an honest conversation about love and dating in today's society.
