The Georgia Review and the University of Georgia Performing Arts Center invite the public to a reading with Finnish-American author Hanna Pylväinen, where she will read from The End of Drum-Time, her historical novel set in the Scandinavian tundra during 1851. The book, which was a finalist for the 2023 National Book Award, follows a Lutheran minister as he tries in vain to convert the native Sámi reindeer herders to his faith.
