United Way is teaming up with local children's book author Naomi Raddatz and The Nook Lounge & Bookstore to host a Book Reading and Signing of "Bob's Birthday Blobs".It's Bob's special day, and all he wants is a day of cake and play. However, his innocent mischief takes an unexpected turn, transforming his birthday celebration into a riot of colorful blobs!
This fun event takes place Saturday, November 8, 10:30am-Noon at The Nook Lounge & Bookstore, 211 N. 9th St., Manitowoc. No registration required.
What to expect:
- Reading of "Bob's Birthday Blobs" by author Naomi Raddatz.
- Reading starts at 11:00am followed by an art project hosted
by the author.
- "Bob's Birthday Blobs" available for purchase and signed by
Naomi.
- Book sales to benefit United Way's Dolly Parton Imagination
Library program.
- United Way reps will be on hand to talk about the
Imagination Library.
- Attendees eligible to win 1 of 3 of Naomi's book in a
drawing.
- The Nook will do a drawing for a free drink.
