About this Event
Join us at Copperbridge Foundation on April 30 for a special evening with author Olivia Almagro and the presentation of her novel Christmas in April.
Christmas in April is a historical novel that follows an Afro-Cuban family forced to flee Cuba during the 1980 Mariel exodus in search of safety and opportunity in the United States. Centered on Rosa and Guillermo, the story explores love, sacrifice, displacement, and the strength required to rebuild a life in a new country.
The evening will include a conversation with the author and an opportunity to engage with the story behind the book.
