Please join us Saturday May 2nd from 11-3 for the launch of S E Cunningham’s debut book After the Storms: From Red Dirt to Redemption!
Books will be available for purchase, and light refreshments will be provided!

The storm doesn’t just change the landscape; it reveals the foundation.
On April 10, 1979, the sky over Oklahoma turned a bruised, metallic green, and the world as S. E. Cunningham knew it was torn open. It was the beginning of a lifelong trek—one that would lead him from the red dirt of his childhood to the high-stakes world of a Cavalry Scout in combat and the grueling reality of life behind a badge.
But the most dangerous terrain wasn't a battlefield or a dark alley; it was the "dead space" of the human heart. After years of running, numbing the pain of grief, and scouting the shadows, a series of divine appointments began to pull him back from the brink. From a timely word from a pastor in Seattle to the life-changing teachings of the Word, the "broken protector" finally found the only tactical advantage that matters: surrender.
After the Storms is a raw, cinematic journey through the storms of life and a powerful testament that no matter how far you’ve scouted into the wilderness, God still knows your name—and He is calling you home.

Born the "caboose" of eight children in the heart of Southwestern Oklahoma into abject poverty and an alcoholic father, S. E. Cunningham’s life has been defined by the rugged landscapes of the Wichita Mountains and a calling to protect. A veteran Army Scout and former law enforcement officer, he has spent decades operating in the "dead spaces" of the world—from the deserts of Iraq to the front lines of law enforcement.
After a series of profound personal losses and a wilderness journey that took him far from his roots, he experienced a radical spiritual awakening that brought him back to his true Foundation. Today, he writes to encourage others. He lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with his wife, Rebekah.
