About this Event
Join us in celebrating the release of Noah Filipiak's new book, . Noah will be discussing the inspiration behind his new book, and answering questions from the audience. There will be time for book signing at the end.
About the Book: We've all experienced difficult seasons. God seems distant; prayers go unanswered; heavy emotions overwhelm us. In these times, the Psalms become a priceless resource for biblical truths we can cling to. In 40 devotional reflections, pastor Noah Filipiak considers the ancient context of these biblical prayers and offers contemporary application for facing today's challenges. Countering the harmful teaching that God shields those He loves from illness and pain, Filipiak equips you with the Psalms' rich language of lament, prayer, and hope.
