Ladd’s evocative illustrations bring these moments to life, featuring Harriet Tubman, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and the Great Migration, alongside seminal songs like "Go Down, Moses," "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child," and "Get on Board, Little Children."
