Library and Archives Canada invites you to the launch of Pursuing a Public Life: How to Succeed in the Political Arena by the Honourable Sergio Marchi. Join us for an engaging discussion with the author, moderated by acclaimed journalist Andrew Cohen.
With candor and the insight of experience, distinguished politician Sergio Marchi outlines the practical steps needed to succeed in the political arena. Drawing on three decades as a city councillor, member of Parliament, cabinet minister and ambassador, he shares the lessons he’s learned to help others take the plunge into a profession that is exciting, meaningful and purposeful.
A book signing with the author will take place from 8:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and refreshments will be served. This event will be presented in English only.
