About this Event

The green digital transition is underway. But what does the transition look like when dictated by the demands of monopoly tech? How has this situation come to be? And where is it being resisted?

Patrick Bresnihan (Maynooth University), will join us to discuss his new book From the Bog to the Cloud: Dependency and Eco-Modernity in Ireland (Bristol University Press, 2025), co-authored with Patrick Brodie (UCD).

17 February, 15:30-17:00

Room 2.05, Institute of Geography, Drummond Street
