In The Ostrich Needs A Lift, an ostrich, disheveled and stranded on the side of the road, needs a ride back to his flock. His topsy-turvy knees won’t fit in a cab, and his broad hips make the bus a tight squeeze. Luckily, an adventurous boy spots him while on his motorbike. Should he give this mischievous bird a lift?

About the Author
Celia is an author and educational program coordinator from New Hampshire. She is a licensed special educator with ten years of classroom experience, ranging from kindergarten to high school.
Born in the Berkshires, Celia proudly distributed her first collection of short stories to her parents, teachers and friends in the 3rd grade. Since then, she has pursued publishing opportunities beyond her kitchen table, though she continues to credit her early exposure to the arts and public education for laying the foundation to her writing. Celia resides in Manchester with her husband, dog, and their collection of vinyl records.
The Ostrich Needs a Lift is Celia’s second book.
Her first book, When Ayden Paints the Sky, was published in 2024.
