Book Launch: Bodies In The Sun

Bodies in the Sun is a photobook by Ottawa-based photographer Sheen Andola, featuring a collection of black and white photographs created during the summer of 2025 across Ottawa and beyond. The work traces a season shaped by friendship, queer presence, and the ways we gather, move, and rest together in light.

The project reflects on queer life in Ottawa, asking what it means to be seen, to belong, and to share joy in its most ordinary and sacred forms.

Join us for the launch of Bodies in the Sun, an evening of community, art, and celebration. Prints of select photographs from the book will be on display. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and pre-order, with $5 from each book sold donated to Out at Camp.
