About this Event
Join us to celebrate the publication of An Introduction to Waste Management and Circular Economy, UCL Press’s first open access textbook in their new programme.
This textbook provides an accessible guide for students on:
· drivers of waste production
· the environmental, social, and economic impacts of waste generation
· best practices and technologies for waste management, recycling, energy recovery and disposal
The authors will discuss the origins of this textbook, the writing process and some of the
key topics and themes in broader context, with colleagues from across UCL and reflect on teaching with the book across various disciplines.
