Actress and author Marianne Leone (The Sopranos) presents her newest title Five-Dog Epiphany, a moving memoir that explores how Leone and her husband, actor Chris Cooper, were able to keep themselves emotionally afloat with the help of their dogs after their only child died at the age of seventeen. The newest title from local Brooklyn independent press Akashic Books' imprint Gracie Belle—a grief imprint that strives to deliver well written, honest, and hopeful stories for those who lose their loves ones—Five-Dog Epiphany explores the couple's rediscovery of joy and is what Kirkus Reviews says "will warm the hearts of animal lovers and general audiences alike". Joining Leone is New York Times best-selling author and founder of Gracie Belle, Ann Hood (The Stolen Child) for an in-depth and heartfelt conversation, followed by a Q&A and signing.
