Every book club in Austin collides in this singles mixer for Austin literati looking for love and friendship.
Bring your book!
Your favorite book. Your least favorite book. Or just the one you're currently reading.
Attendees are invited to drop their books in a box as they enter. The night begins with a "wearing-glasses-but-not-totally-blind dating round" where a single book will be placed at different tables and attendees are invited to sit at the table with the book that piques their interest and get to know the reader over drinks and light snacks (tables will reshuffle approx. every 15 min).
We end the night with a casual hang at the bar, where you can chat with other like minded book lovers over the books that they've brought to the event or anything else.
Come out to Civil Goat Coffee Co. on East 6th Street and find your new reading buddy (and maybe more ;))
