Book Club Christmas PartyThe next Around Town Book Club meeting will be the annual Christmas party! Join us on Monday, December 15 at the Deercreek State Park Lodge in the lounge, located at 22300 State Park Rd 20, Mt. Sterling, OH. The book discussion will be centered on the title Comfort & Joy, by Kristen Hannah. Copies will be made available for check out at the library in the coming days for those planning to attend. Refreshments will be served, and a fun activity will result in a prize winner. This year we will continue our tradition of bringing a gently read book wrapped with a brief hint described on the tag, but you may opt to bring a book themed gift (new or used) with a price limit between $10- $15. Item should be wrapped with a written hint on the tag as well. Open to men and women of all ages and for the serious and casual readers.
New members are always welcomed and there are never any dues to join. This is a diverse group of people of different ages with a variety of backgrounds, careers, and life stages across 6 decades. Open to men and women, the group reads a variety of genres to keep it fresh and take requests from the members. Meet at a different location every month, discuss books, play games, enjoy refreshments and have fun!
