Book Arts Open Studio
Saturday, June 13th from 10am to 2pm (We are ending a little earlier than usual this month to allow for a lecture at 3pm.)
In the studio you can:
- Participate in open conversation with other book artists.
- Get creative with a new-to-you technique.
- Ask for advice on your latest project.
- Show off a favorite piece of book art.
- Get inspired by other artist's work.
- Practice a tricky book making technique.
- Start a new project with one of the many book templates/kits available.
Museum Staff and Volunteers are here to help you with your self-guided projects.Some of the many supplies and tools that are available: reference books, book cloth, end-papers, off cuts, waxed thread, guillotine paper cutter, board sheer, book press, and more.
Drop-in as you wish between 10am and 2pm. Come back often to share your progress.
