Welcome to the Coming Alive with Color!
Bring a group of friends and come play with two artists who share a love of vibrant color in their work and see how it changes the way you see color.
Together, we will start in the first hour with a guided meditative journey to the spirit of color by Darcie Shively, whose weavings channel color in ways that convey the essence of what makes life worth living...serendipity, joy, aliveness. In our group journey we will connect with guides and gain a collective understanding of how our relationship with color in turn can color our lives.
In the second part of our time together, we will enjoy an artist-led activity using color through ink on paper with Carol Ann Wachter. Her large scale painted collages also explore the joy of discovering vibrant color relationships paired with personal forms. Carol Ann will be leading us in a way to playfully look at how we see color and might see it differently together.
Your relationship with color may never be the same!
Tea is served and feel free to bring any of your own refreshments. Once you book the event, we will reach out directly to coordinate a time for your group. The workshop will take place anytime from mid-January through the end of May.
