Bonus Poetry Open Mic at The Gallery Cabaret with feature Janet Kuypers

Come to Chicago’s 21+ bar The Gallery Cabaret for a 2½-hour get-together of poetry (prose poems and 1-2 song musicians are also very welcome to join us) for multiple rounds of open mics as the Chicago poet (and now Austin, TX resident) Janet Kuypers is in town for this one-night, 2½-hour poetic extravaganza!
As a finale to this event, Janet Kuypers will perform a retrospective poetry feature highlighting her poetry over the years in assorted CyberWit and Scars Publications books, but she may also sprinkle in poetry from her recent literary books during the open mic that reflects the heat of our current political times (not unlike heated Chicago summers, too).
Everyone is welcome, and Janet Kuypers is looking forward to hearing more Chicago poets again, so let’s bring Chicago poets together for this one-night-only 2½-hour poetry night at The Gallery Cabaret!
