Beautiful gifts grown locally at Robert's boutique nursery in the Willamette Valley, and a special note from Robert about the upcoming exhibit:
- Junipers which grow mostly upwards in the traditional fashion and look like small old trees.
- Junipers that tend to grow with some branches “cascading” down the side of their container which need to be placed near the edge of a table or pedestal, or on a railing to allow room for growth. Japanese Maple trees with a single tree trunk.
- Japanese Maple Forests consisting of 2-10 trees in one bonsai pot.
- We create constantly create other new types such as Japanese Paper-Bark Maples, Evergreen, Cypress, and even Oregon White Oak Bonsai.
Caring for Your Bonsai:
Our Bonsai trees are ready for the buyer to start trimming or modifying the shape to achieve their artistic goal. Imagine your Bonsai as a table centerpiece on your deck breathing Zen tranquility into that space.
You become the artist of your own natural sculpture as you trim the Bonsai or bend the branches to your will.We are always creating new Bonsai, and we often add creeping thyme or moss or rocks and agates to the Bonsai pots to personalize the trees. You will enjoy adding your own unique rocks or perhaps a small brass frog for fun. I love finding a perfect agate at the Saturday Market to add to the Bonsai.
