Grab a brew, and create your own bonsai tree with local bonsai artists from Thunderstruck Bonsai. No experience or tools are required – just come ready for some hands-on fun that will leave everyone feeling creative as they form their own little tree from scratch.Hosted with Caledonia Brewing, located in the historic Dunedin Times Building on Main St in Dunedin. Caledonia features 15-20 house-brewed craft beers as well as local guest taps, cider, and wine.
Bonsai and Brews is the perfect introduction to the art of bonsai! We’ll be working with tropical species, dwarf jade pre-bonsai material and turning it into a mini masterpiece. We'll go over basic care and maintenance techniques; then you’ll learn how to pot, prune and style your new bonsai tree, so you can love it for many years to come!
This is a great opportunity to learn a little about bonsai with hands-on instruction from our experts while in the comforts of Caledonia Brewing!
