The Cowboy celebrates Boley Rodeo and its legacy as the nation’s oldest Black rodeo with special art, activities and exhibitions. There will be roping and painting demonstrations. The event will also include a Cowboy Concert on Western States Plaza beginning at 3:30 p.m.Schedule of events
10 a.m.-3:15 p.m.: Prosperity Junction transformed into turn of the century Boley
10:30 a.m.: "Like Father, Like Son" exhibit, Atherton Gallery
12:30-3 p.m.: Painting demonstration with Thomas Blackshear II, Annie Oakley Center.
1 p.m.: Roping demonstration, Corral
3:30 p.m.: Cowboy Concert with Tony Williams, Western States Plaza
