To provide women of color (WOC) entrepreneurs access to financial opportunities, empower them with public speaking skills, and create meaningful networking connections to help them grow their businesses.

This event is open to the five boroughs of New York City, with a particular focus on Upper Manhattan, including the Washington Heights and Inwood communities.

Economic Development Impact: will be profound, fostering business growth and economic empowerment among women of color entrepreneurs. By providing insights into loan opportunities and access to financial resources, the event will support participants in scaling their businesses, generating more local jobs, and stimulating economic activity in their communities. The enhanced financial literacy and public speaking skills gained will enable attendees to secure investments and partnerships, driving innovation and expanding their market presence. Ultimately, this initiative will contribute to narrowing the wealth gap, promoting sustained economic development, and empowering a new generation of diverse business

What to Expect:

Loan Clinic and Presentation: WOC entrepreneurs will have direct access to financial institutions to discuss business loans and funding options.

Public Speaking Training with Breakout Sessions: To equip WOX entrepenuers with the skills to present their business ideas confidently and clearly to potential investors and supporters.

Health & Wellness

Networking Awareness: A space for guests to connect with each other, speakers, and financial institution representatives in a more informal setting while supporting others small business owners.

Vendors: A great event to showcase your product and gain new customers.

• Are you interested in being a vendor at this event, the vendor fee is $100. You can fill out the vendor application here and purchase your vendor ticket.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided (buffet style). DJ will be playing thoughout the event. Guests will be given giftbags at the end of the event.

Suggested Donation Range: ($50-$250). Please donate based on your income.
