About this Event
“Georgia O’Keeffe’s early watercolor paintings: vivid, free-wheeling and full of surprise” - Karen Wada
Join us to explore the medium that was beloved by O’Keeffe during the most formative period of her career! During a pivotal time, when she was uncertain of her future as an artist, O’Keeffe created 51 watercolor paintings. She experimented constantly, allowing herself to paint freely and boldly.
Together we will learn all about Georgia’s life before trying your hand at her most used watercolor techniques. Watch water flow freely, play with bold colors, and learn to prioritize the process over the product.
All materials are provided and all skill levels are welcome.
Brought to you by Workshop SLC.
