We will be meeting at the Boise Capitol building on September 17th at 3 pm and taking a walk down to the Grove Plaza. The rules to this march are simple: bring your own poster, make sure it is a positive statement, and keep an open heart to everyone you meet. As a lifelong Idaho resident, I believe this will be pivotal for not only Idaho, but potentially for the nation. All over the US we are witnessing enormous division amongst our fellow Americans. Weather that’s in economic class, politics, race, or gender—we are seeing and feeling the tension of what it’s like to be disconnected from one another. Although this is a collective disruption, is is rooted in the individual. My life motto is, “If you want to change the world, begin by loving yourself ” because when looking at the world’s problems at scale and where to begin, it is enormously overwhelming and can leave anyone feeling helpless. To make it simple, I believe we can solve all the world’s problems by encouraging others to find peace and understanding within themselves. That is the reason I am putting this together. I believe if more people had a sense of understanding and love for their self, the more understanding and loving they can be towards others. Especially those that hold different beliefs. These same different beliefs that are keeping us as the ‘Divided’ States instead of the United States. Simply because we haven’t found a way to co-exist with one another. That is why I believe Boises March For Love will be so impactful. We intend to come into a space with people of all different backgrounds— and unify everyone on the basis of compassion and encouragement. At the end of the day, we are all a lot more similar than we are different. We all have hopes, dreams, heartache, loss, embarrassment...and many more things that contribute to the essence and essentials of the human condition.Boise March For Love will be filled with signs that can inspire, uplift, motivate, and fortify anyone who needs their spirits lifted. Boise March for Love offers inclusivity and unity of all people. Black, white, religious, transgender, pro life, pro gun, you name it. People with all beliefs are welcome, because we will be aiming to influence & encourage people of all different backgrounds.
I would love to see you all there ? thank you for taking the time to read this!
