Boise Ecstatic Dance is pleased to announce another very special guest DJ: SPACEMAN (Alexander Grandville). SPACEMAN will be traveling up to us from Salt Lake City, UT! We are super excited to welcome him to our amazing Boise Community! ***Location will be at the lovely Anser Charter School in Garden City!*** :D

"From Brooklyn grit to Cali bliss, every set is a ritual in motion. Raised on his mother’s vinyl collection reggae, soul, funk, blues, and soca, and classic rock. Spaceman carries a sound system lineage in his bones. He came up in the east coasts underground scenes, where hip hop, house, jungle, glitch, trap and dubstep taught him how to shift energy and dissolve barriers.
His sound has evolved into a force of both pressure and presence. Deep drops, diasporic drums, emotional breaks. His sets guide dancers through shadow and shine, from the head to the hips to the heart. Whether it’s a festival stage, a warehouse rave, an ecstatic dance, or an open-air bass ritual, Spaceman transmits and transforms.
Movement as medicine. Bass as prayer. And liberation in every vibration."
We are in for a real treat! Alexander's partner Kat will be offering a unique style of bodywork called structural integration which they offer together each week at the SLC Ecstatic Dances. She will have a space set up during the dance if this is something that interests you!
