The Bohemian Café returns to Sunrise Ranch with featured artist Elise Wunder.Bohemian Café is a relaxed, open evening of creative expression, conversation, and community, held on the first Thursday of every month at Sunrise Ranch.
Each gathering features live music, original poetry, and interview-style conversations with a rotating mix of artists, thinkers, and community members. The evening is lightly hosted by Paul Bassis and takes shape organically through the people who are present.
Bohemian Café is not a performance showcase in the traditional sense. It’s a space where people are invited to bring something they care about. This can be a song, a poem, a story, a question, a piece of music, or a creative offering that feels alive to them. Participation is always optional, and there is no pressure to perform. Listening is as valued as sharing.
The heart of the evening is connection. Conversations often explore meaningful, sometimes provocative questions about creativity, culture, inner life, and what it means to be human right now. The tone is curious, playful, and grounded, with room for both depth and spontaneity.
Sunrise Ranch welcomes Elise Wunder!
Elise Wunder is a Colorado-born songstress whose medicine is music that distills emotion into rhapsody with a voice of oak and leather. Soft and comforting yet unmistakably strong, her
vocals carry a quiet power that reveals itself in unexpected moments.
Her songwriting walks a thin line between darkness and light, leaning gently toward the abyss while always returning with something luminous in hand. In a single performance, she may bring you to both laughter and tears.
An old soul and natural storyteller, Wunder writes timeless songs that help listeners understand themselves and the world more deeply.
She has shared stages with artists such as Grammy nominee Maggie Rose, Liz Cooper, Judah & the Lion, and Michael Kirkpatrick. In 2026, she begins releasing a long-awaited collection of new music, beginning April 21 with her single, “Every Day.”
Bohemian Café tends to draw a wide mix of people from musicians, writers, artists and seekers, to neighbors and friends, and each month feels a little different depending on who shows up and what wants to be shared.
