Welcome to a day of Vocal Improvisation <3 We will explore the beautiful landscape of Vocal River.

The foundation is shared leadership, cultivating listening, generosity, and presence.
How will the day look?
We start off with a soft movement practice to ground in the body. Then we dive into fun, cool, and wonderful exercises:
Building skills in improvisation, connecting with ourselves and others.
Creating spontaneously through sound, movement, and spoken word. Sometimes we fall flat on our face, we live, we laugh, we learn ;)
WHAT´S IT ABOUT AND WHO IS IT FOR?
Vocal improvisation asks us to step into the circle with everything we are. It strengthens our unique presence in the world, teaching us to navigate in a fluid, strong, and flexible way.
To be playful and willing to change. We build new pathways and possibilities, all the while moving and singing.
This is both for newbies and seasoned singers/sounders, or if you are just into playing with your body and its possibilities.

Holding the space;
My name is Guri, and I have been studying vocal improvisation with Rhiannon for 15 years. In 2022, I did her year-long study, and a year later I joined her ensemble; The Murmuration project

This practice is my favourite thing to do, and it is an honour and a thrill to bring it to Norway :)
I am also a therapist, and I have been teaching yoga and meditation for two decades. As a poet, I also blend in spoken word with vocal landscapes on my looper. FUN!)
Practical info;

- Price 500 NOK / 350 if you are in a tight spot <3 Write me!
- We snack/ eat in the middle somewhere :) Tea and fruit served, there are venues around for coffe and something
-Bring comfortable clothing to move in.
- A water bottle and journal are always great tools ;)
