📍 Held in Jill Hodgson’s gorgeous space, New Mindset Holistic Health & Yoga (soon to be blossoming into a beautiful new name on April 1st), located at 12 Second St W, Cornwall, ON
There comes a point where living in your head stops working.
Where pushing through, holding it all together & staying "ON" starts to feel exhausting... & you realize you don't actually feel at home in your own body anymore.
Somewhere along the way, your body became a place you visit only when something feels off or when you feel like you “have to.”
This space isn't about fixing your body. It's about coming back into it. Gently. Honestly. In a way that actually feels safe.
🌿 Body Homecoming is a somatic healing circle designed to support you in rebuilding your relationship with your body, a place you can return to & actually be with yourself again.
✨ Inside this experience, you’ll be guided to:
– slow down without guilt or pressure
– notice where you’ve been overriding what you feel
– soften the patterns that taught you to disconnect
– begin listening to your body in a way that feels safe
– reconnect through intuitive movement as medicine
– feel more grounded, present & inside yourself
Together we’ll bring awareness to the ways you've learned to relate to your body...
The conditioning that taught you to override, control, compare, shame or disconnect & begin to soften those patterns & come back into yourself with more compassion.
This is a space where your body gets to have a voice.
Where you’re not rushing past what you feel…
& not waiting until something is “wrong” to listen.
Through guided somatic inquiry, a sisterhood sharing circle & intuitive movement as medicine... you’ll be guided back into your body in a way that feels grounded, supported & real.
🌿 This circle is for you if you:
– feel like you’ve been living more in your head than your body
– notice yourself overriding or disconnecting from what you feel
– are ready to rebuild trust & safety within yourself
– desire a softer, more honest relationship with your body
– feel the pull to slow down & come back to yourself

🤍 Learn how to listen to your body in a way that feels safe & supportive
🤍 Space to give your body a voice & be met in presence + sisterhood
🤍 Gentle reflection in a safe, held circle
🤍 Intuitive movement to reconnect & soften back into your body intentionally
🤍 A deeper sense of grounding, safety & connection within yourself
This is a slow, intentional space that honours your nervous system & your body’s timing.
You don’t need to force your way back.
You’re allowed to return gently.
Your body isn’t something you need to fix. It’s something you’re allowed to come back to as a loving home. This evening is simply a space to remember that.

- comfortable clothes you can sit & move in
- water or tea for hydration
- yoga mat, blanket, pillow for comfort to sit on
- optional: eye mask or support object (crystal, palm stone)

🌹 This experience is guided by Mikayla Chisholm, a trauma-informed somatic guide devoted to body-led healing, nervous system regulation, somatic alchemy and embodied expansion.
Mikayla supports women in returning to their body’s wisdom and rebuilding safety from within so they can live, lead and move through life from a grounded, embodied place.
You are welcome exactly as you are. 🤍
